He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Lopez and Jobita Lopez; and his siblings, Gabriel Suarez and Maria Carmen Rivera. He is survived by: his son Gilberto M. Lopez; his granddaughters, Cynthia E. Lopez and Vivica S. Lopez; his great grandchild Aaliyah Harper Lopez; and his siblings, Joaquin Lopez (Carol), Cynthia Lopez, Leticia Berrios (Luis Angel) and Ernesto Suarez (Maria Jimenez Gacsy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
