It is with sadness that the passing of Gregory Owen of East Chicago, Indiana is shared. Gregory, born on March 25, 1951 in Hammond, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen and Lois Owen; his in-laws, John and Helen Kerekes; and his sister-in-law Lisa Kerekes.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Christopher, Jonathan Owen (Stacey) and Leslie Owen; his granddaughter Audrey Sotres; and his pet Ivy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
