He is survived by: his children, Julissa, Joel Jr. and Jilliana; his parents, Denise and Jose; his grandmother Theresa; his sisters, Monica Ximenez (Juan), Veronica, Dawn, Elizabeth Martinez (Joseph) and Briana; his nieces and nephews, Juan Jr., Emma Ximenez, Daniella Duarte, Estevan Cuadra, Julian, Izaiah, Izaac, Roxana Martinez and Cataleya Colon; his great-nephew Kairo Seymour; his child Jujubear; his little sidekick Brownie; and his pet Brownie.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312).
