He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolfo Pena and Carolina Pena; his son Jose Luis Pena, Jr.; and his granddaughter Thalia Rodriguez. He is survived by: the mother of his children Magdalena Santos Pena; and his children, Cecilia Pena Cabello (Roberto), Teodoro Pena (Nickie Miranda) and Esteban Pena (Cecilia De). He is also survived by numerous brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
