He is survived by: his children, Gregory Watkins and Greta Gillis; his siblings, Mable DeVoe, Jimmie Watkins, Christine Watkins and Rev. Elizabeth Watkins; and his grandchildren, Aisha Vinson, Michael Vinson, II, Jermaine Bivins, LaRonde Gillis, Ajagbe Gillis and Kyum Gillis. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
