In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Brijida Rios (late Rafael) and Pedro Esparza; and his sisters, Sarah Degollado (late Jose) and Nancy Feliciano (late Luis). He is survived by: his wife Anna (Camarillo); his daughters, Veronica Ramirez (Robert Jr.) of Hammond, IN and Raquel Vanessa Castetter (Roy) of San Diego, CA; and his grandchildren, Krystina Smack (Eric), Sirena Ramirez and Robert Ramirez III. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Concordia Cemetery (6551 Calumet Ave, Hammond, IN 46324).
