He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Ortega and Juanita Ortega; and his sister Stella Ortega. He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Durbin (Patrick) and Vincent Ortega (Beverly); his nieces and nephews, David Ortega, Richard Havling, Jennifer Molina, Illiana, Sophia and Gabriella Durbin; his great-niece Isabella Arredondo; and his aunts, Petra Vaca and Elodia Samano.
