He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hetisimer (Otto) and Thomas D. Hetisimer; his stepmother Fanny Hetisimer; his wife Donna Jean Hetisimer (Koehler); his sister Donna Rene Russ; and his stepbrother Avery Wolfe.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa "Missy" Hetisimer, Michelle "Shellie" Hetisimer Densler (Charles Randy) and Michael "Mike" Hetisimer (Rhonda "Nikki" Ahaus); and his grandson Landen Hetisimer.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rising Sun New Cemetery (1219 Nelson Rd, Rising Sun, IN 47040).
Memorial donations may be made to the family or to the F.A.R.M. Club of Southeastern Indiana.
