He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford C. "Bill" Dickerson, Sr. and Jewell Ray "Judy" Dickerson (Clemons); and his children, Shawn David Dickerson and Jewell Ann Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Ann Dickerson (McMurray) of East Enterprise, IN; his children, Joshua Tapp (Lisa) of Houston, TX, Jesse Bailey (Becca) of Patriot, IN and Jade Dickerson of Newark, DE; his grandchildren, Kinley Tapp, Abigail Tapp and Karter Tapp; and his siblings, Rod Dickerson (Sue) of Vevay, IN, Sonny Dickerson (Kelli) of Rising Sun, IN, Priscilla "Toy" Smith (Gardy) of Patriot, IN and Judith Langford of Reno, NV. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews and cousins.
