He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Gurley and Mareta Aldean Rose (Pickett); his grandparents, Samuel, Bessie Ellen Rose (Gurley), Clovis and Tempest Pickett (Sanders); his great-niece Lauren Marie Rose; and his parents-in-law, Kirby Van and Laura Bell Dixon (Osborne).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn F. Rose (Dixon) of East Enterprise, IN; his sons, Michael Rose (Courtney Roberts) of East Enterprise, IN and Travis Rose of East Enterprise, IN; his grandchildren, Wyatt Rose, Ginger Roberts and Augie Roberts; his brother Larry Gene Rose of Vevay, IN; his nephew Tony Rose (Shonda) of East Enterprise, IN; his cousins, Del Pickett (Anita), Janice Peters and Ronnie Ray (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Etta Royce (Calvin) of Lebanon, IN, Vonna Haines (Lewis) of North Vernon, IN and Carolyn Altepeter of Seymour, IN..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
