He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Pelt and Velva Van Pelt; his wife Doris McCollum; his siblings, Jack, Robert, Duane Van Pelt, Betty Morgan and Beverly Stonebraker; and his stepson Richard Williams. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and well as several friends.
