Chester A. Bailey Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester A. Bailey Sr. of Eaton, Indiana, who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bailey and Ethel Bailey (Cox); his wife Janice Eppard (Eppard); his daughter Jackie Garrett; his grandson Jamie Bailey; and his siblings, Ray, Glenn, Richard, Charles Bailey, Betty Clevenger, Jennie Campbell, Phyllis McKinley and Judith Bailey.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy A. Hedges, Laura P. Clevenger (Jim), Chester A. "Allen" Bailey, Jr. (Dawn), Thomas F. Bailey (Susie) and Mary J. Bailey-Jones (Tim); and his brother Fred "Jude" Bailey, Jr.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great- great grandchildren.
