He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cross and Lillie Cross (Waskom); and his brothers, Arnold Cross and Glenn Cross. He is survived by: his wife Janet Cross; his daughters, LuAnne Porter (Marvin) and Julia Wood (Robin); and his grandchildren, Holly Supan (Tony), Hilary Miller, Corbin Black, Maggie Black (Skyler Stephans), Gracie Crouch (Wesley), Catherine Hill (Michael), Leah Harrell (Aaron), Brady Wood (Alicia) and Annie Bell (James). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Trump Campaign to "Make America Great Again".
