We announce the death of Janet L. Cross of Eaton, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 92. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Cruea and Elizabeth Cruea (Brown); her brothers, Jack and Jeffery Cruea; and her husband Harold Cross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lu Anne Porter (Marvin) of Valrico and Julia Wood (Robin) of Yorktown; her siblings, Jerry Cruea (Anna) and Jennifer Hooker (Bob); and her grandchildren, Holly Supan (Tony), Hilary Miller (Basem Elemory), Corbin Black, Maggie Stephans (Skyler), Gracie Crouch (Wesley), Catherine Hill (Michael), Leah Harrell (Aaron), Brady Wood (Alicia) and Annie Bell (James). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, a bonus great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
