We announce the death of Robert Lewis Holliday Sr. (Eaton, Indiana), who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 87. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Holliday and Lola Mae Holliday (Woolard); his son Robert Lewis Holliday Jr.; his former wife Beatrice Holliday (Tomlinson); and his siblings, John Holliday, Billy Holliday, George Holliday, James Holliday, Mae Shackleford, Ruby Kemp and Mary Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Holliday; and his children, Jeff Baker of Hartford City, Debra Taylor (Joe) of Muncie, Brian Baker (Libby) of Delaware, OH, Tim Baker (Mona) of Muncie, Cathy Jenkinson-Button of Muncie and Cindy Baker (Jay Bennefeld) of Muncie. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
