With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Hoke LaPlant of Elizabeth, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer D. Hoke and Florence Brim Hoke; her husband James E. LaPlant, Sr.; her great grandchild Ethan Stewart; and her brothers, Harold, Garold and Burl Hoke.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Stewart (Richard) of Elizabeth, Anita LaPlant (Mike Meile) of Lenexa, Jimmy LaPlant (Carrie) of Elizabeth, Kevin LaPlant (Brooklyn) of Elizabeth and Joe LaPlant of Elizabeth. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
