He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ellis and Thelma Maude Woods. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jean Woods of Loogootee, IN; his sister Shirley Tanksley of Franklin, IN; his children, Keri McBride (Joseph) of Newburg, IN and Brian Woods (Ginger) of Indianapolis, IN; and his grandchildren, Dakota, Erika, Breanna, Samuel, Trinity, Lizzy and Bryson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loogootee Methodist Church (208 W Main St, Loogootee, IN 47553).
He also participated in countless golfing events including weekly leagues, local tournaments, and charity outings. His greatest contribution to society was doing for others.
