He is survived by: his wife Denise "Sherrell"; his children, Melanie Curry of South Bend, Shulena Curry of Charlotte and Tyree Curry of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Elijah Curry, Addison Curry of Charlotte, Kashmere Jackson, Kaia and Kehlani; his siblings, Herman Brent Curry, Kim Curry (Darla), Micah Curry (Stacy) of Indianapolis, Edward Curry (Marilyn), Peggy Thomas, Angela Curry, Regina Curry, Anita Curry of Indianapolis, Tony Bonds, Kenneth McCreary, Sr. (Martha), Brian Dungy and Elaine Stevens-Wesley; his parents-in-law, Cheryl and Jerome McIntosh; and his siblings-in-law, Kelly Weidner (Jeff) and Shawn Reid. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, firefighter brothers and friends.
