He was predeceased by: his parents, Velver Dooley and Alice Dooley; and his siblings, Velver Dooley Jr., Willie Allen Dooley, Carl Dooley, Glennis Arnold and Mae Helen Kimbrough.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Dooley of Noblesville, IN, Krystal Dooley of Elkhart and Dana Crider of Cassopolis, Michigan; and his sisters, Alpha Mae Gregory (Deotis) of Elkhart, Telitha Dooley of Elkhart and Queenesther Lovelady of Elkhart. He is also survived by his three grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandson.
