She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Pontious and Loreen Pontious; her husband Ben Kirts; her siblings, Lillian Selick and Donald Pontious; her brothers-in-law, William Selick, Donald Kirts and Melvin Kirts; and her siblings' children, Pat Harris, Herb Kirts, Tom Kirts and Gerry Kirts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Kirts Stern (Donald) and Susan Kirts McWhorter; her granddaughter Carole McWhorter Perry (Richard); her sibling's children, Chris Selick Eaglesfield, Diane Kirts and Danny Kirts (Nancy); and her great-nephew B. J. Eaglesfield (Kristen).
