Barbara Jean Waterman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 93, Barbara Jean Waterman of Elkhart, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Huffman and Gertrude Huffman (Anderson). She is survived by: her former spouse Russell A Weesner Jr.; her husband Bobby J Waterman; her daughters, Rummikub and LuAnn Hakala; her grandson Jonathan Hakala; her siblings, Frank, Robert, Roy, Jack Huffman, Mary Allen, Betty Vincent and Bonnie Huffman; her son-in-law Larry Walker; her children, Jeffrey Waterman and Jacqueline Walker; her son-in-law John Hakala; her siblings, Richard Huffman (Jenny), Connie Christy and Vickie Ide; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Duvall, Nicholas Hakala, Lucas Hakala (Lauren), Jeffrey Jr. (Waterman) and Jeanette Jarrell (John). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in Barb's honor to the American Alzheimer's Association.
