It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Lynn Tarnecy of Elkhart, Indiana, born in North Liberty, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Kaley and Goldie Kaley (Patesel); her former husband Harold G. Annis, Jr.; her husband Joseph A. Tarnecy; her daughter Lori Bowers (Tarnecy); her son-in-law Ron Bowers; and her siblings, Laurel Clark, Peggy Clark and Edward Kaley.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph W. Tarnecy of Elkhart, Michael A. Tarnecy of Bunker Hill, IN, Tonya A. (John), Harwood (Annis) of Mishawaka, Tammy C. (Greg) and Wyland (Annis) of Elkhart; and her siblings, Luanne Root of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mary Ruth Bruegel of Granger, IN and Dale Kaley of South Bend, IN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
