She was predeceased by: her father Warren R. Strong; her son Courtney "Cort" Gordon; her brother Warren "Ronnie" Strong, II; her nephew Brian "Keith" Arnett; and her pet Gizzy.

She is survived by: her sister Cherie Thompson (Pete) of Elkhart; and her children, Wayne Arnett (Catrina) of Tulsa, OK, Christie Marley (Mark) of Granger, IN, Carole Snyder (Scott) of Osceola, IN and Matt Thompson (Ashley) of Elkhart.
