He is survived by: his children, Zina Brown, Janesa Brown of Georgia and Coy Brown Jr. of Elkhart; his stepchild Apostle Edwin A. Newsome (Chantella) of Elkhart; and his siblings, Janyth Tidwell, DeWayne Barham, Ernestine Barham of Elkhart, Stevie Russell (Tiffany) of Niles, Elder Latoshia McMorris (Torrence) of Elkhart, Joshua Russell of Dowagiac, MI, Shiela Gaskins of New Orleans and Precious Jewell Hutcherson of Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kingdom Impact Cc Church (2201 Toledo Rd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Prairie Street Cemetery (401 W Hively Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516).
