He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Howard and Pauline Howard (Lykins); and his siblings, Norma Gay Elam, Tommy Jay, Clayton, Jr. and Michael Howard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denna Brown (Steven) of Elkhart and Misty Brown (Carl) of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Misty, Tyler, Gavyn Brown, Denna and Makynnah "Kenny" Brown; and his siblings, Deloris J. Kelley (Michael), Bob R. (Inez) and Larry D. Howard (Brenda).
