In loving memory of David Roy Adkins of Elkhart, Indiana, who departed this world on June 29, 2025 at the age of 84. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Golden and Grace May Adkins (Blake). He is survived by: his sister Caroline Sue Gibson of Elkhart; his nephews, Joseph Gibson (Carol Sue) of Elkhart, Philip Gibson (Erin Knoll) of Elkhart and Ron Gibson (Sonita) of Elkhart; his great-nephews, Joseph Jr. and Jonathan; and his siblings, Paul, Doug, Jerry, Joe, Delbert, Ted Adkins, Rex, Gene Carroll, Alice Palmer and Betty VanAtter. He is also survived by extended family, friends, and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services (812 Baldwin St, Elkhart, IN 46514).
