He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ausra and JoAnn Ausra; and his sisters, Kathy and Susan Ausra (Sandra Ausra). He is survived by: his sons, David S. Ausra (Michelle) and Mike Keene (Angie); his grandchildren, Bailey Keene, Camryn Ausra, Elizabeth Showalter, Laney Keene, Melanie Boersma, Matthew Boersma, Brandon Boersma and Ty Spallone; his pet Coco; and his extended family, Penny Deats, Dave, Joann, Lukas and Lexi Hoffman.
The military honors was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Custer Cemetery.
