He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" A. Petersen and Rosemary "Rosie" V. Petersen (Ryan); and his siblings, Douglas Alan Petersen and Mary Ann Petersen. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Q. Petersen and Kate Gilbert (Brett); his grandson Sage Gilbert; and his brothers, Michael Petersen (Margaret) and Steven Petersen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dave's honor are kindly requested to: 'The Friends of Cass County Parks' (a 501c3) at, PO Box 131, Cassopolis, MI 49031 to support T.K. Lawless park, a property where Dave spent many days and nights with loved ones when it was privately owned.
