She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Howard Sr. and Mary Rucker (Trainer); her husband Lawrence F. Rucker Jr.; and her sister Diana Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Danielle Rucker and Shane Rucker (Autumn Leed); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Carmichael and KeShaune Rucker; her great grandchildren, Haidyn Carmichael, Emmarie, Presley Landis, Zofia Niemzyk and Luna Jantzi-Rucker; and her siblings, Darlene Rucker (Ron), Bobbette Gohn (Marvin), Connie Love, Sandra Rucker, Candy Rucker, Shirley Richards, Gloria Rucker, Roger Rucker, Andy Rucker, Allen Howard (Sonya), Michael Howard (Jennifer) and Robbie Howard (Christina).
