He was predeceased by : his parents, J. L. Barbee and Gladys Barbee (Harper); and his siblings, J. C., Darrell Barbee, Sandra Adkinson, Shirley Meyers and Penny Matlock.

He is survived by : his significant other Shirley J. (Streetman).
