He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Cooper-Sawyers (Larry) and Sandy Bowen (N. C.); his grandchildren, Donisha (Ronald Walden), Shamika, Monica, Dionta McBride (Karissa), Donitta, Donetta, Darnell, David, Delane, Keisha, Montez, Takisha, Jaquarius, Jaquanta and Courtney; and his sister Rosemary Porter (Joe). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
