She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Hanks and Viola Haks (Weaver); her brothers, William and Robert Hanks; and her son Daniel Meredith.

She is survived by: her children, Patrick Meredith and Denise Weatherholt (Lonnie); her grandchildren, Rachel Szobodi, Heather Dickey, Melissa Dickey, Tara Iavagnilio, Joshua Dickey and Breanna Shaffer; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Niya, Thomas, Matthew, Hayden, Sutton, Kemper and Smith. She is also survived by her family, leading children.
