He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Herr (Gaines); and his brother Daniel Herr. He is survived by: his father Lloyd Herr; his wife Susan "Sue" Herr (Leyden) of Elkhart; his daughters, Catie Herr and Sarah Marks (Daniel); his granddaughter Elennore; and his brother Tom Herr. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
