He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Olinger and Thelma Olinger; his son David Olinger; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Olinger and Lindsay Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Kidder; his children, Dan Olinger (Cinda) of Middlebury, IN, Darrick Olinger (Sherry), Michael Olinger (Tabitha) of Granger, IN and Patti Olinger of Goshen, IN.; and his daughter-in-law Tabitha Olinger. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:30 AM at the Elkhart City Church (431 S 3rd St, Elkhart, IN 46516).
Memorial contributions may be given to Elkhart City Church or to Heartland Hospice.
