With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene D. Heyse Sr. of Elkhart, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heyse Sr. and Martha Heyse-Wroblewski; his stepfather Frank Wroblewski; and his siblings, Ernie Heyse, Edwin Heyse, Dorothy Tompos, George Heyse Jr. and Casey Wroblewski.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Heyse Jr. (Deena), Ron Heyse (Ronda), Kandi Ecklebarger and Lynda Heyse Wiegand; his grandchildren, Jarrod, Elyse, Ariel, Ryan and Travis (Janell); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Autry, Beau, Rylan, Harper, Tobias, Kendall and Kamden.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
