He is survived by: his spouse Willie Jean Bryson; his children, Stephanie Elaine Hodnett (Ernest) of Indianapolis, George Lee Byers, Sr. (Alfraretta) of Elkhart, Vicki Lynn Jerideau (Sam) of Charleston, John Avery Byers (Ruth) of Elkhart, Robert Jerome Byers of Greensboro and Adrian Allan Byers (Joetta) of Elkhart; and his cousin Junita Perason. He is also survived by his children, a ton of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
