He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Lind and Margaret Lind; and his brothers, Ronald and Robert Lind. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Jenny Hoffman (Glenn) and Cliff Lind; his sister Jean Lind; his stepsons, Ted and Michael Jacka (Debra); his stepgrandsons, Joshua, Nicholas and Nathaniel; his nephews, Sam, Ben Brenkman (Sara), Paul and Kurt Lind (Mel); Charles Mather (Bala). He is also survived by 9 great nephews and nieces.
