She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard R. DeMeyer and Kathryne DeMeyer; her husband Robert R. Gaulger; her sons, Robert Gaugler, Jr., Michael Gaugler and Dennis Lee Gaugler; her siblings, Paul DeMeyer, Sylvia Lott (Calvin), Gerald Richard DeMeyer (Carol) of Edwardsburg, MI., JoAnn Willis and Emmaline Gause; and her brother-in-law Willie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Lewis (Joseph) of Goshen, IN., Terry Gaugler (Robin) of Elkhart, IN. and Douglas Gaugler (Melissa) of Elkhart, IN; her daughter-in-law Debbie Gaugler of Danville, IL.; her sister Carol Johnson of Bristol, IN.; and her pet Tippy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
