He was predeceased by: his parents, Sivert Dyrhaug and Ethel Dyrhaug (Gustafson); his brothers, Gene, Wayne and Curtis Dyrhaug; and his great grandchild Amelia Kay Brooke.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dyrhaug (Young); his children, Dawn Leas (Pieter), Kimberly Butler (John), Christopher, David (Jeabri), Mary Bernardi (Charles) and Adam (Lisa); and his sister Gayle Nielsen. He is also survived by grandchildren, nine precious great-grandchildren.
