She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nelson and Blanche Nelson (Veatch); her husband Larry Shaum; and her siblings, Jim, Jack Nelson, Dorothy Pletcher, Betty Buss, Arlene Buss, Jean Douglas, Tonia Jo Harris and Sheila Kirts.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Shaum of Elkhart and Mark Shaum (Misty) of Romeoville, IL; and her sister Marilyn Mann of Goshen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
