He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Morton (Mecklenburg) and S. Craig Morton. He is survived by: his wife Janet Morton (Rose); his daughters, Melanie Lesko (Jason) of Sherman, IL and Amanda Richman (Adam) of Bremen, IN; his grandchildren, Rachel Lesko, Rebekah Lesko, Raegan Lesko, Hunter Richman, Reese Richman and Cal Richman; his brothers, Kevin Morton (Carolyn) of Clyde, OH and Russell Morton (Vicki) of Kirbyville, MO; and his brother-in-law John Rose of Sierra Vista, AZ. He is also survived by nephew, three nieces, and several cousins.
