He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Leo and Marie Meyer (Conner); his wife Doris Eggemeyer; and his siblings, Junior Meyer and Dorothy Kientzle.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Bell (Cory) of Middlebury, Rocky Meyer of Union, MI, Michael Meyer (Mary) of Waynesville, MO, Stephen Meyer (SueAnn) of Marble Falls, TX and Jeffery Meyer (Phyllis) of Austin, TX; and his sister Delors Wingerter (Ronald) of Quincy, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Honor Flight.
