She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mondich and Julia Mondich; her husband Donald E. Castello; and her brothers, John, Charles and Michael Mondich.

She is survived by: her nieces, Sheryl Dunn (Rose) and Donna Elia (Rose) of South Bend; her son Jeffery Gerald Castello; her granddaughters, Carley Mayer (Dan) and Cassandra Haller (David); and her great grandchildren, Ethan Mayer, Addison Mayer, Emmi Mayer, Graham Haller and Heath Haller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
