He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard II and Mary "Cheryl" MacMillan (Henriksen); and his brother Michael MacMillan. He is survived by: his son Shawn MacMillan (Olyvane); his siblings, Catharine Walker (Richard) of Winter Garden, FL and Thomas R. MacMillan of Elkhart, IN; his siblings' children, Jason Walker, Brian Walker (Stefanie), Bryce MacMillan, Matthew Wells, Michal Ruegner (Shawn) and Alyssa MacMillan; his great-nephews, Chayton Ruegner, Ethan Walker, Carson Walker and Owen Walker; his great-niece Hailie Baumgartner (Kyle); his sister-in-law Barbara Newcomer; his daughter-in-law Oly; and his grandson Gavin.
He eventually moved back to Elkhart, IN to help his brother Tom take care of their father who had Alzheimer's.
