It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Iris Newman of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verro P. Nicodemus and Mabel L. Nicodemus (Ogle); and her husbands, Neil Linger, Stanley Egert and William Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Denis Egert (Rebecca) and Karen Cook (Roger); and her grandchildren, Phillip Egert (Lori), Tania Lace (David), Josh Egert, Keyna Jankoviak (Daniel) and Sheri Aurenz (Matthew). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Apostolic Temple in South Bend.
