We are sad to announce that, on March 12, 2023, at the age of 77, John David Bentley of Elkhart, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Edward H. Bentley. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Singleton Chapman; his children, John Jr. Bentley (Jennifer) of Mishawaka, Leslie Hardy (Jefferie) and Rebecca Bentley; his stepdaughters, Shanon Singleton of Elkhart and Megan Chapman of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Noah, Sydney, Ian Hardy and Calvin Bailey; and his brother Roderick Bentley of Kokomo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart County Humane Society or one of their choices.
