He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman A. Nicholas and Margaret F. Nicholas (Walterhouse); his son John Nicholas; and his siblings, Richard, Dale, David, Don and Patricia Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nicholas (Fink); his children, Debbie Lietzan (Bill), Kathy Nicholas, Becky Browder (James), LaPorte and Lori Lane (Rick); and his stepchildren, Natalie Probst (Lonny), Michelle Nash, Jeffrey Ziems (Jennifer) and Kurt Ziems. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and a brother.
