It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Hartman of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hartman and Wilma Hartman (Meisner); and his sisters, Mildred Rassi (Tony) and Caroline. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sophia Wolber; and his children, Harold Lee Hartman (Ali) of Elkhart, Indiana, Wayne Edward Hartman of Elkhart, Indiana, Judy Kay Culp (Gary) of Warsaw and Nancy Jean Hartman of Elkhart. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
