He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Simpson (Olsen) of Elkhart; his children, Heath William Simpson (Kelly) and Jennifer Kay Jordan (Paul); his grandchildren, Grant Simpson, Maddison Gray (Tony), Emma Schumacher (Skylar), Dustin Smith, Sophia Jordan and Benjamin Jordan; his great grandchild Miles Gray; and his siblings, Harold Simpson (Lavonne), Tom Simpson (Dorothy), Jim Simpson (Charlene) and Marge Daniel (Ron).
