John W. Perkins Obituary
We announce the death of John W. Perkins in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 74. John W. will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Perkins and Emma Jean Perkins (Layne); and his siblings, Ralph Perkins and Toni Caudill. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda of Warsaw; his sons, John W. Perkins Jr. (Shauna) of Silver Lake and Kristopher "Kody" Perkins of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Paige, Caitlynne, Mason, Tasara, Leianna and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Sean and Emy; his siblings, Jackie Driscoll (John), Donna Burket (Glenn), Lisa Chaplin, Kevin Perkins (Kelli) and Kathy Perkins; and his brother-in-law Don Caudill. He is also survived by several step-brothers and sisters as well as step-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels (2290 Provident Ct, Warsaw, IN 46580). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
